ADMISSION GUIDELINES

Admissions at The Oberoi Crest School are guided by clarity, fairness, and care for the child.

  • Admissions are offered on a First Come, First Served basis, subject to seat availability

  • Admission is based on age-appropriate eligibility norms
  • We do not conduct formal interviews for parents
  • The school follows CBSE guidelines for admissions
  • Interaction and assessment methods are designed to be child-friendly and stress-free

STEPS IN THE ADMISSION PROCESS

A Step-by-Step Guide for Parents

Step 1: Enquiry & Initial Interaction
 Parents may submit an enquiry through the website or visit the school admissions office. An initial interaction is scheduled to understand the child’s background and address parent queries.

Step 2: Child Interaction / Assessment

  • Pre-Nursery to Grade 1: An informal interaction with the Principal and educators.
  • Grade 2 onwards: Age-appropriate worksheets designed to assess minimum learning competency. These are supportive, guided, and non-stressful for the child.

Step 3: Submission of Documents
 Parents submit the completed admission form along with the required documents.

Step 4: Admission Confirmation
 Admission is confirmed subject to availability of seats. Fee payment is required upon confirmation.

Parents are requested to submit the following documents at the time of admission:

  • Three passport-size photographs of the student and parents/guardian
  • Self-attested copy of the student’s birth certificate
  • Original School Transfer Certificate (applicable from Grade I onwards)
  • Copy of the previous class report card
  • Copy of residence proof (rent agreement, voter ID, electricity bill, etc.)
  • Aadhaar card copies of the student and parents/guardian
  • Bonafide certificate from the previous school
  • Duly filled student admission form
  • Student’s PEN number and APAAR ID

Supporting a Smooth Transition

Once admission is confirmed:

  • Parents submit the Transport Form and Medical Form
  • The Admissions Office assigns the Date of Joining
  • An orientation session is conducted for parents and students
  • Academic mentors assist new students with transition support
  • Parents are guided on school routines, communication channels, and expectations

WITHDRAWAL & TRANSFER POLICY

  • Parents wishing to withdraw their child at the end of the academic session must apply for a Transfer Certificate by 15th March
  • Applications submitted after 15th March will require payment of the first quarter fee of the upcoming academic year
  • Withdrawal during the academic session requires payment of full annual fees
  • In rare cases, the school may advise discontinuation if persistent academic or disciplinary concerns remain despite repeated support and guidance

FEE STRUCTURE

The fee structure for The Oberoi Crest School is currently under finalisation.

  • Fees are transparent, with no hidden charges
  • Detailed information will be shared during interaction with the admissions team
  • Fees are payable through cheque, demand draft, or online bank transfer

SCHOOL UNIFORM

School uniform details are under finalisation and will be shared with parents prior to the commencement of the academic session.

The Oberoi Crest School follows the CBSE curriculum, aligned with NCF and NEP 2020.

Formal assessments begin from middle school. In early and junior grades, assessment focuses on understanding, application, and effort through continuous evaluation.

 We follow a Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) approach using projects, presentations, quizzes, cycle tests, and teacher observations.

 The school has an on-campus infirmary supervised by a qualified nurse. In case of emergencies, parents are informed immediately and the child is taken to the designated hospital.
